ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL MANAGER FOR THE EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY PROJECT PIONEER+
Context of the position : Université Gustave Eiffel has 16,000 students and employs 3,000 people across its campuses. Since 2024, the university has been the coordinator of an alliance of European universities, the PIONEER Alliance, which brings together 10 higher education establishments in Europe around the theme of "Shaping the future of inclusive, sustainable and resilient cities", funded by the European Union. The administrative and financial manager of the PIONEER+ project will report to the support team of the University's International Vice-Presidency, which consists of 5 people based on the Nantes and Lyon campuses, and will work in direct liaison with the PIONEER+ project manager and the Alliance coordinator. The Administrative and Financial Management Manager will work in close collaboration with the Contracts, Budget, Financial and Accounting Departments, as well as with the various administrative departments of the Alliance's partners . 12-month renewable fixed-term contract Remuneration between €2,166 and €2,774 gross/month depending on experience.

Missions principales
Main tasks:
• Initiate and follow up purchases relating to the PIONEER project;
• Monitor overall project expenditure and act as a point of reference for the European partners on the financial monitoring of the project.
• Take charge of the logistical, administrative and financial aspects of hosting or travelling PIONEER delegations;
• Helping to organise PIONEER events at UNIV EIFFEL;
• Monitor the project's administrative management indicators, in particular time spent;
• Monitoring the application of national and European administrative rules and procedures;
• Support the French project team with administrative tasks.
Compétences attendues
Background:
• Holder of a bachelor's or master's degree in administrative management
• Desired experience in administrative and financial management of European projects
• Good knowledge of French public procurement rules
Skills and know-how :
• Fluency in French (B2 minimum) and English are essential (B1 minimum)
• Proficiency in office automation tools
• Ability to work as part of a project team and independently
• Knowing how to manage your activity under severe time pressure
• Proactivity and flexibility
• Ability to design documentation and procedures
• Travels in France and Europe
